Joshua Hagler is one of them, and his work speaks for itself. He has by far one of the most unique styles and his work continues to push the boundaries by incorporating various elements that are not seen to often in the comics industry. We have been following his work for quite some time, and we are always excited to see what’s next. In this spotlight we will be bringing to you a small taste of his work and a brief bio giving you a little bit of background on Joshua and his latest ventures.

Joshua Hagler is a contemporary painter and multi-media artist living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Boy Who Made Silence Description:

SUMMARY: When twelve-year-old Esmé saves small-town deaf boy Nestor Gudfred from drowning, he is inexplicably able to cast the townspeople into each others’ pasts and dreams. Nestor begins to receive visitations from Peter’n’Charlie, a strange cat-headed rhetorician and Pastor Buddy, a minister in search of a prophet. While the town seems to regard Nestor as a prophet, he begins a search for his long-lost father in this surrealist meditation on the nature of religious belief.
