Optimum Wound in recent memory has produced some of the most exciting and quality projects that the comic book industry has to offer. They have published Danijel Zezelj’s Rex and Richard Serrao’s web comic Memento Mori. They have a unique taste for the Black and White culture of comics. Optimum Wound have established a great online presence through serializing graphic novels online in expanding their content and readership something that all publishers want. However this spotlight goes more in depth and we detail how this publisher has provided more than just great quality projects.

Feature #1: Masters of Ink: This section of the website conducts interviews with industry professionals in asking various questions surrounding artistic technique, tips for aspiring creators all dealing with technicality of ink. They have interviewed some great artists who include Darrick Robertson, Tony Moore, Becky Cloonan, and Andy Brase.

Feature #3: Webcomics: The recently re-launched O.W.C blog has provided new features, and great new content. They also provide a great section for their current offerings of web comics. They are currently serializing 4 titles which include Rex, Memento Mori, Silent Scream, and Battles without Living Witnesses. The web comics show the true essence of the Black and White culture of comic books.
